Project Overview

The Georgetown GO Station project explores the feasibility of installing a pedestrian bridge to replace the existing pedestrian tunnel. This bridge will span both the Canadian National Rail (CNR) and Metrolinx (MX) corridors, crossing over two CNR tracks (freight lines) and one Metrolinx track (passenger service lines). The project's primary objective is to address potential sightline issues and ensure adequate braking distances for train operations, crucial for maintaining safety and efficiency.
