Project Overview

Transportation Master Plan for the existing Traffic Operation was created for the City of Kawartha Lakes. Turning Movement count was completed for this study at 36 locations. Additionally, a Collision analysis was undertaken to develop an empirical model for future operational and safety assessments of the city's roadways and intersections. This analysis involved a review of historical collision data provided by the city to identify key hotspots and collision trends in terms of type and severity. The TMP addresses these findings and provides recommendations to optimize the city's transportation network and enhancesafety for all road users.
