County Road 42 Reconstruction and County Road 43 Diversion Phase 3

Project Overview

The project involved providing comprehensive inspection services for the reconstruction and widening of County Road 42 as part of Phase 3 improvements. The scope of work included the construction of a concrete roundabout at the intersection of County Road 19 and County Road 42 to improve traffic flow and eliminate the existing signalized intersection. The project also featured the addition of sidewalks on both sides of the roadway to enhance pedestrian accessibility for the surrounding community, the expansion of the corridor to a four-lane cross-section to alleviate traffic congestion, and the installation of new curbs. Inspection services also covered coordination and verification of underground utilities and utility relocations. The project incorporated streetscape enhancements and tree planting to improve the overall aesthetics and functionality of the corridor. Our role encompassed daily field inspections, quality control monitoring, coordination with contractors and utility providers, and documentation throughout construction to ensure compliance with design specifications and project standards.
